The 8% AHA contained in Isntree Chestnut AHA 8% Clear Essence makes it an effective product for unclogging clogged pores. The combination of Glycolic Acid (4%), Lactic Acid (4%) and newly added Gongju Chestnut Shell Extract work together to exfoliate dead skin cells, resulting in a complexion that is more even, smoother and more radiant. While glycolic acid has the smallest molecular size of any AHA, meaning it can penetrate deeply and quickly, lactic acid is milder and has moisturizing properties in addition to its other benefits. They make a wonderful match when they work together. In addition, the formula has hyaluronic acid, which keeps the skin moist, and centella asiatica, which soothes the skin.
Use this once or twice a week. We suggest you incorporate it into your evening routine. Do not use other types of exfoliation, vitamin C serum or retinol/retinoids in the same routine.
